The Story of Buttermilk Falls Botanicals
Buttermilk Falls Botanicals grows from the meeting of forest, water, and garden. Our home sits above the falls, where the sound of the brook moves through the trees and soil rich with life. This house has been nestled within this landscape since 1978, and came to my hands in 2021. After five years of settling in, it's time to begin to share our lessons, our failures, our successes, and show off our goods!
The year begins with winter seedlings getting their start on the dining table, and making their slow migration toward the garden. As the weather breaks we move our operation to the potting shed. This is where we harden off starters, tend plants, and share botanical curiosities inspired by the land around us.
